Although you may have no intention of
participating in any dog shows, before you make your final decision to buy a
pup it is worthwhile visiting at least one dog show, preferably an
international one, as you will find many breeders and owners in one place
who will be happy to answer any questions you may have and to give advice on
this breed of dog.
Visit different kennels and
decide for yourself in what kind of conditions the puppies are
being raised. The puppies will need to have had access to
outside exercise when and for however long they want and daily
contact with different people aside from just at feeding
times. Socialising is very important for the pups’ future.
Be honest with the breeder!!! What kind of conditions are you
able to provide for the dog you are thinking of acquiring. At
the very worst the breeder may have to explain to you why you
are unsuitable to raise a pup and at the very best you will
get lots of useful advice.
